Was nice to meet you, sorry I couldn't stay long.

We had a wonderful time.It was amazing to see so many dogs together and all so well behaved. Here's one of the lovely dogs we bumped into.

Also, puppy love. Desmond is 14 weeks old, unfortunately he was having an extra jab today so missed the cutest puppy, but he caught the eye of this beauty.

Andy and I and Honey had great day at show and was a great to meet up with Sue who rescued Honey and brought her into our lives 8 years ago.

unable to make it no transport

Our boy Ted at 18 years old won the prize for Oldest Veteran πŸ˜ƒ

PLEASE SHARE: With 75mph winds set to batter the UK tonight, it’s important to keep your pets safe #StormAileen

Move rabbits, guinea pigs and other outdoor pets inside or into a car free garage. If this isn’t possible – move runs and hutches to the most sheltered area in the garden and make sure they have plenty of bedding. Hutches and runs can be covered by blankets and tarpaulins to keep them dry and warm. Tag a friend with pets, to help spread the word!

Aww i would love her, but OH says noo.

Enjoyed taking her photos this afternoon Valerie Gilpin. Eevee is such a lovely natured and happy dog, can't understand why she is in rescue. Some lucky person will give Eevee a home and have a loyal and loving pet (win win situ) x

Am I right thinking she can not live with a cat ???

I wish my dog was nicer I would snap evie up in a breath. She is gentle and loving. Fabulous dog. I don't understand why she is still in rescue. 😩😩

She is a stunning girl!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Hi Valerie how old is Eevee and can she be rehomed with children aged 8 1/2? Can she live with another dog?

I'm working on my hubby... she'd make a great addition to our family xxx I presume she doesn't need s foster home?

We would love her, but we don't have a big garden, we have a cat and visiting grandchildren are toddlers. 😐

Bryn Whiteley

Gavin Littlewood!!! 😒

Sarah Hamilton

I know Emily Hamilton but she can't live with a cat I don't think. Even ours ?

Hello Valerie Gilpin I was telling my friend what a wonderful friendly love machine Eevee is. Unfortunately her Granny is ill at moment so she dare not come and see her. (She knows she will want her if she sees her). Hope Evie finds a forever home soon) xxx

If you're walking dogs in Sugden park in little Gomersal just be aware someone has dumped a big pile of boiled onions in the bushes, I've just had my Labrador to the emergency vets after she ate some before I could stop her, luckily she's ok now after treatment but if I hadn't got her treated so quickly or if she was a small dog I dread to think what the outcome would have been 😑 I am sure they have been dumped by one of the burger traders on Sunday's Fun day, if so they need to be contacted, disgusting that they have done this and potentially risked dogs lives, £108 very expensive onions!! but at least she's ok ❀️ ... beautiful

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous what else can i say

Eevee is such a lovely natured girl great around other dogs

Eevee is a typical Lurcher will lay around once she has been walked and fed

like's her comfy then,lol

Gorgeous 😍

She wants to please and with the right owner she would be a fabulous dog .

She's so lovely I can't understand why she can't get her own home. It's so sad. X

will you be taking any of the dogs up to oakwell

Carol Whiteley x

I saw evvee at barkyard adoption day. She didn't react to any dogs. Was friendly with kids and adults. Best behaved there. Only reason I didn't adopt her was I had a cat. She'd make someone a great friend x

I'm sure I met evvee at the vets earlier this year. If it was her she was so lovely & well behaved. My dog can be dog reactive & Evvee must have been giving off some good vibes because mine didn't react at all. I'd have her in a heart beat but got to look after my old 🐢 at the moment x

RU is now Re-homed

Meet RU he is approx. 2 years old
Poor old Ru came to us in a very sorry state. Despite this he is a truly lovely boy and will reward his new owner with loyalty and love. He is calm and gentle in the home and around our dogs and loves his walks. He has not been tested off lead as yet. I dont think he is used to walking on lead and can pull in excitement, he is quite strong. A harness works well. Ru is extremly clean and house trained. He eats well and needs to put on some more weight as he came to us very underweight with worms and fleas. He is all clear now. We have 3 small dogs who can be lively pests and Ru is totally fine with them. No sign at all of aggression, he even lets the Westie eat some of his food. Ru sleeps well and doesn’t wander in the night. I put him in a crate if I go out and he’s fine with that. Ru has a lot of love to give and he will be a good, loyal friend to the right owner. If I didnt have 3 dogs already Id keep him myself.
RU is house trained , microchipped and will be neutered by the rescue .
If you would love to have this nice boy in your life and would like to meet him . PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE and FILL IN A DOG ENQUIRY FORM .

Please keep sharing for Eevee . We have people interested , but no real commitment yet .

Evie is the only dog I have seen that gave me the courage to ask my landlord if we could get a dog. He has arranged a meeting to discuss next week. However sadly we do have one cat but if any trials/foster with view to adopt could be arranged I would be very interested.

HOME WANTED

MEET OUR TOBY .
I thought I would tell you a little bit about TOBY and how he came into our rescue and what he has been through . I love this boy and if you understand Lurchers then to me he is a straight forward dog .
Toby came into Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue from a pound where he was on death row . Pound pullers work very hard to find death row dogs a rescue place and Toby was just one of many that was saved . He was brought up from a pound in the south of England by volunteers who give their time to get dogs to rescue who offer a rescue space .
He was fostered by a elderly couple for quite some time . They gave him lots of love and training and he was quite settled . The problem Toby had was if he saw a cat when out walking he would pull and the rescue and the elderly couple were quite concerned that Toby would catch his fosterer off guard and pull him over . Luckily for Toby a lovely family adopted him . We thought Toby was set for life until we got a phone call to say they couldn't keep him . Toby had been walked on a extending lead and had a altercation with a cat . We were told half the street was alerted and this lovely boy was beaten with sticks . I just couldn't believe what I was hearing , my heart bled for this boy and we couldn't get him back into rescue quick enough . Toby was then fostered by different families with no possible home in sight . We eventually ran out of fosterers that would take Toby because most had cats or couldn't take a large dog . We then paid to kennel him at lovely Moorview Kennels . That help out rescue dogs , he stayed there for awhile then Toby got another chance of a home with a lovely couple down in Cornwall . We arranged with a person to do a home check and passed with flying colours . One of YRDR volunteers then transported Toby down to his new home . Everything was looking bright and breezy and the second day yet again we got a phone call . They had let Toby of the lead on the beach and was throwing sticks and his head just went over board he got over excited and didn't know if he was coming or going . Poor Toby came back into rescue . He was then fostered with a nice couple till they went on holiday where the couple found a dog in rescue and brought the dog home . Toby then had to be moved again to yet another fosterer .
This lovely boy just needs a stable quiet home where he can be loved and have nice walks and live the rest of his life with a little bit of comfort . There must be someone who could give this dog a home . If you or you may know someone who can PLEASE GET INTOUCH .

Shared with love and hope!

Shared I do hope he soon finds his forever home x

Poor little dog shared in Bridlington Yorkshire x

Shared for you Toby~ hoping for the best for you lovely boy xx

Poor little boy ! He's been through so much . Shared for him x

I have a Lurcher cross, and I agree Toby is just breed typical, sadly my boy is a grump with other dogs apart from my staffie who he adores. Hang in there beautiful boy, you're forever home will come πŸ’œ

Toby is still waiting for the right home to come along

Breaks my heart, my boy is dog reactive or I would have snapped this boy up. They're so loving and giving, just big soft couch potatoes. Just need to be extra vigilant when out with them. Please someone give this boy the chance he so deserves πŸ’œ My beautiful boy Rudy roo πŸ’™
